My Transformative Talk Will Take Your Participants from Spectator to Steward Through My Preside Method™
Discover
It’s important to know where we are starting in order to change. We’ll look at the patterns of “waiting on God” and how living in lack as a Spectator may be keeping us stuck, watching our lives go by. Spectators have limiting beliefs about God and themselves, settling for whatever circumstance may come their way or what other people say they can have. They live by default.
Become
We’ll examine biblical principles and what God’s Word says about how we should actually live. I use the analogy of being a judge to demonstrate what this biblical principle of Stewardship looks like. As Stewards, we live by design and therefore can decide what we want. Once we accept God’s mandate to take authority over our lives, we are equipped with the tools and accountability, knowing we are worthy and capable of Stewardship.
Preside
We’ll explore the many tangible ways we can learn to Preside by leaning into biblical principles to get results. We’ll discuss how to implement our authority and jurisdiction; knowing when to wait on God and when to Steward a situation. We’ll practice creating order and boundaries — striking thoughts, emotions, and actions that are no longer serving us. As a result, we will possess the mindset it takes to Preside over every area of our lives.
